Since May 2003 Cara Jenson has held several positions at College Hospital Cerritos beginning her career in the Admitting Department. In 2004 she moved to the Quality Improvement/Risk Management Department and in 2007 became responsible for the department.

As Director of Quality Improvement/Risk Management, Ms. Jenson is responsible for regulatory compliance and has lead CHC to successful Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Mental Health surveys. She is also responsible for coordinating all Performance Improvement Activities and serves as the HIPAA Privacy Officer. She oversees all Risk Management Activities in coordination with the Corporate Risk Manager.

Ms. Jenson holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside and an Associate’s Degree from Cypress College. She has also received the credential of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

Ms. Jenson is a native of Southern California and during her free time can often be found with her friends and family at Disneyland.
