ACCOUNTING

 (1)ACCOUNTS PAYABLE TECHNICIAN- FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT: One year of General Accounting office experience preferred.  Knowledge of accounting computerized systems, microcomputers and associated software. Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel. Good communication skills. Attention to detail in accounting. Good team work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

ADMITTING

 (1)PATIENT REGISTRATION SPECIALIST- PER DIEM, VARIED SHIFT: Working knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal regulations as they apply to admissions process is preferred. Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as they apply to admissions process is preferred. Good customer service and computer skills.  Excellent people skills and able to remain calm under pressure.  College Hospital Costa Mesa Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

Current CPR certification.MAB is required within 90 days of hire.Effective verbal and written communication in English.Previous psychiatric/chemical dependency treatment experience preferred.


CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM




 (1)TRIAGE PERSONNEL (SADDLE BACK HOSPITAL/ORANGE COAST MEMORIAL) – PART TIME, DAY SHIFT: The Triage Personnel at SMMC must be a licensed clinical social worker and MFT.  The clinician must also have knowledge and experience in crisis intervention, psycho-social assessment and diagnostic skills using the DSM based criteria; current LPS designation required.  The Triage Personnel at SMMC will be working onsite at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGMENT





(1)H.I.M. ANALYST SPECIALIST - PART TIME DAY SHIFT :RHT or equivalent training and experience preferred.  Capable of evaluating information in medical record against verifiable criteria; i.e., Medical Staff By-Laws, Joint Commission Standards, Title 22 Standards.  Attention to detail. 

(1)H.I.M. CODER – PART TIME DAY SHIFT:Must be knowledgeable medical terminology.  Must have working and current knowledge of the conventions used in the ICD-10-CM and CPT coding classification systems.  RHIT or CCS or equivalent training and experience preferred.

HUMAN RESOURCES

 

   (1)HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT (TEMP) – FULL TIME DAY SHIFT:Bachelor’s degree and 1 year work experience in the Human Resources field preferred. Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), strong telephone and interpersonal skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
LABORATORY

(1) CLINICAL LABORATORY ASSISTANT– PER DIEM, VARIED SHIFT: Must have basic knowledge of biomedical science for the performance of pre-testing preparations in all laboratory areas.  Must be able to type and operate basic office equipment and be familiar with computer operation.  A familiarity with the principles of basic laboratory equipment used in pre-testing is preferred.  Must maintain a high degree of accuracy.  CA Phlebotomy certificate or proof of submission of all requirements to CDHS is mandatory. BCLS required within 90 days.  Six months experience in acute care facility preferred.

(1) CLINICAL SUPERVISOR, FULL TIME DAY SHIFT: Licensed Clinical Psychologist or LCSW.A minimum of one year experience with inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care. Familiar with the philosophy of partial hospitalization and current Medicare standards .Ability to assess the age specific needs for severely mentally ill adult patients, ages 18+.CPR & NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) required within 90 days of hire.

(2) THERAPIST – FULL TIME & PER DIEM , DAY SHIFT: Must be a licensed MFT, Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor or psychologist or have an intern number registered with the Board of Behavioral Services or a Psych. Assistant number registered with the Board of Psychology. Prefer 2 years of clinical experience working with seriously mentally ill and/or developmentally disabled and/or substance abuse clients. Effective written and verbal communication in English. Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and medical record charting basics. Good group facilitation skills and experience. Must complete CPR and MAB requirements within 90 days of hire.

MEDICAL STAFF

 PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTICIONER: Possess and maintain graduate professional nurse, and nurse practitioner registration in CA, which must be unrestricted, current, complete, and active. Must Obtain Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and at least 2 years in an acute care setting; LPS Designated Required within 3 months of start date; Proficient in EHR (CPSI / EVIDENT to be trained during orientation); Proficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking to be able to communicate clearly with patients, families, clinic staff and other healthcare professionals. NURSING ADMINISTRATION

DRIVER – PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT: Must have a 4-door vehicle. Must have a valid CA Driver License with good DMV record. Must have current, valid motor vehicle insurance with minimum coverage requirements. CPR and MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification must be completed within 90 days from hire. Knowledge of area roads and freeways and an understanding of vehicle performance, maintenance and safety. Flexibility, reliability, professional image and guest relations skills. Motivated to be directly involved with patients. Must be able to assist and identify the needs of patients during transportation.


PSYCHIATRIC

SERVICES


 CHARGE RN– FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT – Current CA R.N. license.  Bachelors degree preferred with minimum of two years’ experience in clinical specialty, or minimum of two years’ experience in in-patient setting, or minimum of one year management or Charge experience in Mental Health field.  Ability to assess the age specific needs for all patients.  Must have current BCLS for Healthcare Providers upon hire;  MAB and LPS Designation required within 90 days of hire.

STAFF RN – FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT: Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.  Ability to assess the age specific needs of the patients per unit population.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

STAFF RN – FULL TIME, NOC SHIFT (FLOAT): Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.  Ability to assess the age specific needs of the patients per unit population.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

STAFF RN – FULL TIME, NOC SHIFT (Adult UNIT): Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.  Ability to assess the age specific needs of the patients per unit population.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

LVN –PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT (Adult UNIT): Current valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician/Vocational Nursing in the State of California.  Ability to assess the age specific needs for all patients.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

(1)PROGRAM THERAPIST – PART TIME, DAY SHIFT: LCSW or MFT license and CPR certification required.  Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as group facilitation skills.

(1)DUAL DIAGNOSIS COUNSELOR PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT:Graduation from a state licensed program for Alcohol and Drug Counseling Studies desirable or 5 years progressive responsibility and experience in the drug and alcohol field preferred. Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) preferred or Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC) preferred.

 

Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire for all clinical positions.
