ACCESS  (1) INTAKE SPECIALIST– PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT:B.S. or B.A. in psychology, social work or related field, or LVN or have a minimum of six months experience working in an inpatient/outpatient psychiatric facility or in an emergency room or chemical dependency facility.
ACCOUNTING  (1) STAFF ACCOUNTANT: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.  Good knowledge of Accounting, computerized systems, PC and spreadsheet software required.
ADMITTING  PATIENT REGISTRATION SPECIALIST– PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT:Working knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal regulations as they apply to admissions process is preferred. Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as they apply to admissions process is preferred. Good customer service and computer skills.  Excellent people skills and able to remain calm under pressure.  College Hospital Costa Mesa Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

PHP

(1) PROGRAM DIRECTOR– FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT:California license of Clinical Psychology, M.F.T., L.C.S.W., O.T. or R. N. or related graduate degree (MA, MSN, etc.).   Minimum of two years of experience in clinical specialty.  Minimum of one year of management or administrative experience in Mental Health field or promotion from within.   Capable of managing all aspects of such a program (including: clinical issues, census, expenses, referral development, staff supervision).  CPR and MAB required within 90 days of hire.

(1) THERAPIST – FULL TIME, DAY SHIFT: Must be a licensed MFT, Social Worker or Psychologist or have an intern number registered with the Board of Behavioral Services or a Psych. Assistant number registered with the Board of Psychology. Prefer 2 years of clinical experience working with seriously mentally ill and/or developmentally disabled and/or substance abuse clients. Effective written and verbal communication in English. Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and medical record charting basics. Good group facilitation skills and experience. Must complete CPR and MAB requirements within 90 days of hire.

(1) HUMAN RESOURCES CLERK, PART TIME, DAY SHIFT: Must have computer knowledge and ability to work with various software programs.  Must be able to type 55/60 wpm.  Attention to detail, accuracy, organization of tasks, good interpersonal skills, professional image, and excellent telephone skills.

PHP 

(1) PROGRAM ASSISTANT– PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT:CPR and MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification must be completed within 90 days from hire. Flexibility, reliability, professional image and guest relations skills. Motivated to be directly involved with patients. Must be able to assist and identify the needs of patients.

 (1) STAFF RN – PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT: Current, valid State of California R.N. license. Ability to assess the age specific needs of adult patients, ages 18+. Current CPR certification. Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire. Effective verbal and written communication in English. Previous psychiatric/chemical dependency treatment experience preferred.

NURSING ADMINISTRATION

DIRECTOR OF CRISIS STABILIZATION SERVICES: Must have a minimum of four years management/supervisory experience and two years’ experience in the psychiatric field.  Clinical degree of RN or LCSW is preferred.  Capable of managing all aspects of such a program (including: clinical issues, census, expenses, referral development, and staff supervision).  ACLS, HealthCare Provider CPR, MAB and LPS designation required.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER (CONTRACT): Possess and maintain graduate professional nurse, and nurse practitioner registration in CA, which must be unrestricted, current, complete, and active. Must Obtain Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and at least 2 years in an acute care setting; LPS Designated Required within 3 months of start date; Proficient in EHR (CPSI / EVIDENT to be trained during orientation); Proficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking to be able to communicate clearly with patients, families, clinic staff and other healthcare professionals. NURSING DEPARTMENTS (MEDSURG, PSYCHIATRIC, SPECIAL PROCEDURES

STAFF RN–FULL TIME, DAY &NOC SHIFT (ADULT PSYCH & MED/SURG UNITS): Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.  Ability to assess the age specific needs of the patients per unit population.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

MENTAL HEALTH WORKER- PART TIME & FULL TIME, DAY & NOC SHIFT, (ADULT PSYCH UNIT): High school diploma or equivalent or experience in mental health setting preferred.  Motivated to be directly involved with patients.  Effective verbal and written communication in English.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

CHARGE RN – FULL TIME, DAY (ADOLESCENT UNIT): Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.  Preferred one (1) year acute psychiatric or chemical dependency nursing with age level appropriate to assignment.  Ability to assess the age specific needs per unit population.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

 CNAFULL TIME, DAY SHIFT (MED/SURG):Certified as a nursing assistant in California or nursing student beyond the first year.  Prefer experience and training as a nursing assistant in an acute care hospital.  Must be physically capable of delivering all aspects of patient care.  Ability to assess the age specific needs of adolescents, adults and geriatrics.  BCLS required.  Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire.

SOCIAL SERVICES

SOCIAL WORKER – PER DIEM, DAY SHIFT:  Masters in social work or related field with social work training and experience.Maturity, flexibility, leadership qualities, professionalism, and strong clinical skills required.

 

Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) is required within 90 days of hire for all clinical positions.
